Tampa Forehead Lift Preparation

During your Forehead Lift consultation, Dr. Luria will take the time necessary to understand your expectations and determine if the procedure is right for you. You will discuss which type of forehead lift will give you the best results, based on the severity of your condition. In some cases a full facelift might be a better option. He will also answer any additional questions or address any concerns you might have.

Dr. Luria will also need to understand your complete medical history. He will ask you about medical conditions that might cause issues during or after the forehead lift, such as uncontrolled high blood pressure, blood-clotting problems, or the tendency to develop large scars. Make sure to tell him if you have had previous facial surgery, if you smoke, or if you take any drugs or medications -- including aspirin or other drugs that affect clotting.

If you decide to have the forehead lift, you will work with the office staff to find a surgery date which works for you. You need to put down a deposit of $500 to hold the date and all surgical fees are due three weeks in advance of your surgery. Financing options are available to help offset some of the upfront costs of the procedure. Information on financing can be found on our Tampa Plastic Surgery Financing page or by talking to one of Dr. Luria’s staff.

Dr. Luria will give you a complete set of instructions to follow before your surgery. Make sure to follow these directions closely as they will help you in the surgical and post operative recovery process.

Dr. Luria usually performs the forehead lift on an outpatient basis. Prior to surgery, you will need to arrange to have someone drive you home and to be with you for at least the next day or two.
