Tampa Facelift Preparation

During your consultation with Dr. Luria, you will discuss the Facelift procedure in great detail including the type of results you desire. Dr. Luria will look at your bone structure to determine where the incisions can be discreetly placed. You should also come to the appointment prepared to discuss your medical history. This will include information about any medical conditions, drug allergies, medical treatments you have received, pregnancies, previous surgeries and medications that you currently take.

Should you decide to go forward with the facelift surgery, Dr. Luria will give you thorough preoperative instructions including eating and drinking guidelines. Additionally, if you are a smoker it is recommended that you quit before your surgery. Aspirin and certain anti-inflammatory drugs can cause increased bleeding, so you should avoid taking these medications for a period of time before surgery.

You will also need to work with the office staff to find a surgery date which works for you. You will need to put down a deposit of $500 to confirm the surgery date and all surgical fees are due three weeks prior to surgery. If you are interested, financing options are available to help with some of the upfront costs. Information can be found on our Tampa Plastic Surgery Financing page.

If your facelift is being done on an outpatient basis, you will need to arrange for someone to drive you home after surgery and to stay with you for at least the next day or two.

It is imperative that you follow all of Dr. Luria’s preoperative instructions to make your facelift as successful as possible. If you have any questions, you can call the office at 813-875-6376.
