Tampa Cheek Implant and Chin Implant Surgery Preparation

You should come to the cheek or chin implant consultation prepared to discuss candidly your medical history. At your consultation, Dr. Luria will take the time necessary to understand your expectations and determine if the implant surgery is right for you. He will discuss which type of technique that will give you the best results, based on the severity of your condition. He will also answer any additional questions you might have.

You should come to the appointment prepared to discuss your medical history including medical conditions you may have, medical treatments you have received, previous surgeries, and medications that you currently take. Dr. Luria will also give you specific instructions on eating and drinking prior to your chin or cheek implant surgery. If you are a smoker, it is recommended that you quit before your surgery.

If you decide to have the implant surgery, you will work with the office staff to find a surgery date which works best for you. You will be required to put down a deposit of $500 to hold the date and all surgical fees are due three weeks prior to your surgery. Financing options are available to help offset some of the upfront costs of the procedure. Information on financing can be found on our Tampa Plastic Surgery Financing page or by talking to one of Dr. Luria’s staff.

While cheek implant and chin implant surgery is a fairly routine procedure, every surgery carries some degree of risks. Dr. Luria will cover these risks during your consultation visit.

If during your preparation period you do have questions, feel free to call the office to talk to Dr. Luria or one of his staff. They can be reached by e-mail or phone at 813-875-6376.
