He will spend time with you to understand your expectations and ask questions to make sure he can give what a recommendation which will meet your needs. After a full facial exam, Dr Luria will then explain your options and give his expert advice on what is possible. Prior to your exam, you should also look for pictures in magazines, or visit our Cheek and Chin Implant Photo Gallery to see what is possible. You should plan on spending 60 to 90 minutes in the office on the day of your appointment.

For Chin Implant surgery, Dr. Luria will select a chin implant of the appropriate size and shape to enhance the appearance of your face. He will then make an incision inside your mouth (along your lower lip) or in the skin under your chin area in order to place the implant. Dr. Luria will then position the implant in front of your jawbone to give your chin a more pronounced look.

For Cheek implant surgery, Dr. Luria will work with you to select a cheek implant which is appropriate for your face. He will then make an incision inside your upper lip or your lower eyelid to allow him to position the cheek implant. Dr. Luria then forms a pocket and inserts the cheek implant.

After your consultation, should you decide to schedule your cheek or chin surgery, you will be required o put down a deposit of $500 to confirm the surgery date. All surgical fees are due 3 weeks prior to surgery.
